When competing in KCBS* BBQ comps, there's the Masters (the professionals) and the Backyard. The Backyard teams are simply the men and women who take their smokin' skills to the next level — competing against other Backyard teams for best chicken and ribs.

About Brewski's BBQ
In the Spring of 2019, BBQ enthusiast Jason Ulikowski loaded up the back of his truck with an Oklahoma Joe and some basic BBQ necessities for his first-ever KCBS-sanctioned competition. Since then, the Oklahoma Joe has been replaced with two drum smokers, and the loaded-up truck is now hauling a full-blown trailer — complete with refrigeration, prep tables, and all of the fixin's.

• 16th in Chicken (among 377 teams)
• 44th in Ribs (among 381 teams)
• 23rd Overall (among 379 teams)
